Choose A Brandable Domain Over a Keyword Filled Domain

by Alex on July 20, 2009

A domain is everything to a website. But choosing the right domain for your site isn’t always the easiest decision. There are two routes you can go while choosing your domain. Should you go with a domain that has keyword in it, or one that is easy and brandable?

It’s just like making the decision whether or not to write for search engines or humans when writing posts. Do you fill your post with keywords that may help it rank better in search engines, or do you write a post with the human in mind?

Just like writing, you should always keep the human in mind. Choose a domain that is easily remembered, and more brandable.

Having a brand on your blog is very important to your credibility. It adds a more unique touch to your blog, and in the end, your readers will appreciate it.

So which sounds better to you?

It’s all about how you brand your blog. Every little thing counts, and the better the brand – the more unique your blog will be.
